Biography
Born in France, Isabelle Leymarie began piano in Geneva, learned to read in Marseille… A doctor in ethnomusicology, she has taught at several American universities. A pianist, she has taught in the United States and France, played as far as Japan. She has collaborated on numerous publications, published about twenty books.
She has produced shows, programmed concerts. She has translated more than forty works. As a child, she studied classical piano at the Geneva Conservatory… she studied jazz, studies it still, never satiated. Jazz?
