Biography
Léo was immersed in jazz music very young, in France on the Côte d’Azur, and began clarinet listening to Noone, Bechet, Saury, Luter. Then it was Goodman, Artie Shaw, Barney Bigard etc, without forgetting the big bands of King Oliver, Fletcher Henderson, Cab Calloway etc…
Léo Muller undertook classical studies, which did not end in a career in this field, if not teaching. Back in Switzerland.
In practice, jazz wins hands down! Léo was a founding member of the Swiss Yerba Buena and Paradise Creek, and currently Moonship Washboard Five. He also plays with numerous formations from the Vaud Riviera, teaches at the Ejma, and trains adults in the practice of this living, exhilarating, and communicative music that provides energy, joy, and well-being...
