Biography
Nicknamed by the New York Times "the warbler of gypsy jazz", Tatiana Eva-Marie is a Franco-American singer, bandleader, author, and actress. Leading transatlantic formations, she draws her inspiration from the heritage of Django Reinhardt, finely blending gypsy jazz and French influences. With over 80 million views on YouTube, she is hailed by Vanity Fair as one of the major figures of the jazz revival of her generation. She performs regularly in the most prestigious clubs in New York (Blue Note, Dizzy’s, Lincoln Center, Symphony Space, Birdland, Joe’s Pub...) as well as in numerous festivals in the United States (New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Freight and Salvage, Jazz Aspen Snowmass, Tucson Jazz Festival...) and around the world. Her musical universe reflects her French and Balkan roots, her passion for the Parisian art scene of the 1920s to 1960s, her love of traditional gypsy songs, her fascination for the music of New Orleans, as well as a deep attachment to the Great American Songbook.
